Meeting: March 4, 2017

Writers have a lot of tools in their toolboxes, but one tool we don’t often reach for is “theme.” Understanding the themes of what we’re writing can help to focus and unify our stories and elevate our books in quality. Themes are the underpinning and the afterglow of our books. This workshop will help explain how we can use themes to empower our writing.

Writing under the pen name Judith Arnold, Barbara Keiler is the award-winning, USA Today bestselling author of more than one hundred published novels. Her most recent releases are Angel of the Morning, the seventh book in her popular Magic Jukebox series, and two updated and retitled reissues of books originally published by Harlequin and MIRA: Star-Crossed and Just This Once.
